Policy into Practice: A Qualitative Inquiry into the Work of Sexuality Educators

Using data gathered via interviews and observations, this article examines the impact of formal policy structures on the work of professionals dealing with adolescent sexuality. Informal structures and policies developed by these professionals are discussed. Additionally, the mechanisms by which these are developed and communicated are identified and described.
